The exhibition consists of materials from the second chapter of my PhD project and it explores Post-Soviet Outer Mongolian identity within familial narrative through photography and video. The unique proposition in the chapter is an inclusion of my father Tsegmid Vanjil as a case study. Negotiating father- daughter relationship in a socio-cultural context, and then transforming into a tool of re-identifying oneself is the method I used to create these series of works.
